Jared called in this afternoon from Camp 2 at 11,200 ft. They got an early start this morning again, and were in camp before lunch time. It was a bit cloudy this morning, but improved as they moved up in altitude from 7,800 to over 11,000 ft. They are doing good, and moving really well still. This afternoon they took a well deserved nap before dinner.
They’ll spend 3 nights at this camp, so they’ve settled in for a bit and made themselves comfortable. The views continue to get better every step up the mountain, and from Camp 2 they have beautiful views of nearby Mt Foraker (17,4oo ft) and can see over to the North side of the Alaska Range.
