Lead Guide Rob “Durny” Durnell called in from the team’s camp at 14,200′. He and the team have been waiting patiently for any break in the incessant snow that might allow them to move up the mountain. It has been relentless. This has been an exceptionally long stretch of snowy weather. The team is eating well and holding out hope that they can move up before their food and fuel limitations require them to drop back down to Base Camp. Also, team members have flights home and life obligations that are tugging at their ability to stay much longer.
Fingers crossed for a break in the snow!
